Flap disc (slat) Standard – BLADE BFDS

They are manufactured with CNC machines for automatic shaping so as to ensure quality of the product.
The abrazive material on them is aluminium oxide, used because of its great hardness and roughness. Its natural state – corundum has a label 9 on the Moss scale of mineral hardness, right below diamond (10). Also, it possesses a great thermal endurance.
We differ two types of applying (sticking) abrazive on the disc, cold (standard) or at high temperatures (Pro Series), making them durable.
Flap discs are primarily used for grinding and shaping metal (iron, steel, stainless steel, aluminium), but also for wood, plastic etc.
