Drill bit for metal HSS-G M35, cobalt – BLADE BBK
The body of the drill is made of cobalt fast-cutting steel M35. Alloys with 5% cobalt are referred to as M35 class. Made of M35 cobalt steel with the addition of molybdenum and cobalt it makes the alloy even stronger (it has a hardness of up to 67 on the Rockwell scale). The top of drill bit cutting angle of 135 degrees provides the safe contact on all types of metal, without moving or sliding. Also, 135 degrees makes less force required to remove metal compared to smaller angles such as 90 ° and 118 °. Fully ground body (HSS-G) with bright finish provides creation of the most precise apertures in terms of shape (regular – circular) and dimensions of the hole aperture. Hardened surface is characterized by durability and high heat resistance. They are primarily used for drilling holes in stainless steels, cast iron, titanium, metal and aluminum.
